Ducora offers several coatings designed to help improve the oil and gas industries from improving pipe flow return rates to corrosion prevention from natural or man-made damage. These coatings are formulated as two part hybrid silicon-ceramic coatings designed to bond on the molecular level with ferrous & non-ferrous based metal substrates. The resulting surface of the coated substrates exhibits extreme protection against oxidation, corrosion, salts, microbial intrusion, chemical corrosion, and ultra violet degradation. Furthermore, these coatings demonstrate an increased flow rate of both liquid and gaseous substances across its surface versus a non-coated ferrous metal surface due to unique laminar flow characteristics, exhibiting a marked decrease in the dynamic coefficient of friction. These coatings infuse with the base substrate it’s applied too, essentially becoming part of the base material. These coatings exhibit extreme durability and protection, maintaining designed performance for years.
Our coatings can be applied in a range of 5-15 mils thick wet in order to form a substantial layer of protection against abrasive environments.
Production coal bed, methane, injection, and disposal wells, gathering stations, valves, pipes, ferrous & non-ferrous metals, gelcoats, plastics, metal infrastructure, heavy equipment, mining operations, transportation, tanker, shipping containers, corrosive use, hydration prevention, & high heat environments, hydrophobic applications, and more.
